Brief History

Interested in the search of valuable opportunities for young national tennis players, who strain for reaching a level of high international competition, the Cariari Country Club as a whole with the Costa Rican Federation of Tennis (F.C.T) they initiated for three years the celebration of a Juvenile International tilt in our country, for 18-year-old minors, with the zeal to stimulate the development of the Costa Rican tennis.

After many negotiations realized before the International Federation of Tennis (I.T.F) there was granted to us the authorization to realize the above mentioned event inside the calendar that governs the region of the North, Central America and the Carib (C.O.T.E.C.C) corresponding(fitting) to him(her) to the Glass Cariari to be played in June of every year, and it(he,she) allows him(her) the players participants to form a part of the circuit of the Juvenile Ranking Mundial.
